I started doing these drawings in April 2017 around the time of the French national election. I continued making them until approximately July 2108. So some of them were done in Venice, some of them were done as a reaction to political events, and some of them are just crazy shit. Michael Cohen, Jeff Sessions, Mitch McConnell and Marie LePen make appearances, as did more directly intimate things having to do with actual life. I did them as an unfiltered accumulator—it was when I realized that sometimes I was doing good stuff on both sides of the paper that I started being more careful, and just made images on one side of the paper. Some go way out.
