Sensitive Skin #3 cover photograph by Ted Barron

Sensitive Skin 3, published September, 2010.

We did something a little different this time. Ted Barron, our featured photographer (and co-author of East of Bowery, from Sensitive Skin Books) provided gorgeous photographs, mostly in glorious black and white, to illustrate the entire issue’s stories and poems.

The writing includes three great short stories from three great writers, Craig Clevenger (Dermaphoria, The Contortionist’s Handbook), Sensitive Skin editor emeritus John Farris (The Ass’s Tale), and SSM editor and Unbearables co-founder Ron Kolm.

There’s also poetry from Rebecca Weiner Tompkins (Life in a Blender) and Dan Sofaer.

The musicial feature is Spuyten Duyvil, an Americana band from upstate NY.

Finally, we present a video of a poem by Eddie Woods, “Bananas.”

48 Pages, full color, 8.5″ x 11″, PDF format.
